Known as “Nature's Perfect Food”. The avocado is a nutrient-dense fruit with healthy fat, vitamins and minerals that a baby would need for complete nourishment. It is also a great baby food with its creaminess and soft texture. A baby can easily digest. Its enjoyable bland flavor allows it to be easily mixed into a variety of other favorites.
- Single ripe avocado halved, pitted and pulp spooned out.
- The soft pulp goes into the blender. Add small amounts of breast milk or formula to reach the desired thickness. Serve immediately with Pacific Baby straw top, handle set, or drink top lids.
REMINDER: Many pediatricians will remind you that breast milk or formula feeding should still be your baby's main source of nutrition until the age of 1.
AVOID: A few common food allergens are eggs, milk, wheat, soy, tree nuts, fish, and shellfish.
Honey is should be avoided the first year because it can cause botulism.
Wait until your baby is 10 - 12 months before trying gas-inducing foods such as beans, broccoli, onions, fruit juice, wheat, cauliflower, garlic, and dairy. A gassy baby isn’t a happy baby.
